A. Site Survey, "As-Found" Drawing Preparation, and Compliance Evaluation
* Site Survey and Data Gathering: *
-
Deployment of a multi-disciplinary team (Architect, Professional Electrical Engineer, Professional Mechanical Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer) to conduct a thorough site inspection and gather accurate "as-built" data of the existing plant.

Detailed measurements and documentation of existing structures, equipment layouts, utility connections, and architectural features.
​* Mandatory Compliance Evaluation:

Electrical System: Comprehensive inspection and evaluation of the entire electrical system against the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and relevant safety standards. This includes wiring, panel boards, protective devices, grounding, and load calculations.

Mechanical System: Inspection and evaluation of all mechanical equipment and systems (e.g., process machinery, piping, ventilation) for compliance with the Philippine Mechanical Engineering Code and other applicable standards.

Fire Protection System: Assessment of existing fire suppression systems, fire exits, emergency lighting, and egress pathways for compliance with the Philippine Fire Code (RA 9514).

Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS): Inspection and evaluation of all FDAS components for adherence to NFPA 72 and local fire codes, including system functionality and integration.

Preparation of detailed inspection reports for each discipline, outlining compliance status and recommending necessary rectifications.

B. Preparation and Submission of "As-Found" Drawings and Supporting Documents
* Consolidation of Drawings:

Compilation of all "As-Found" and updated Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, and FDAS plans into a complete, integrated set.
* Professional Endorsement:
-
Signing and sealing of each sheet of the drawings by the respective licensed professionals (Architect, Professional Electrical Engineer, Professional Mechanical Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer).
* Supporting Documentation:
* Preparation of necessary engineering computations, technical specifications, and other documents required by the OBO for permit application.
* Assistance in filling out and preparing required OBO permit application forms.
C. Representations to DOLE and OBO & Certificate of Appearance
* DOLE Representation:
* Preparation and submission of a formal letter of representation to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on behalf of Onestand Manufacturing Company.
* Participation in meetings and discussions with DOLE representatives to address any occupational safety and health (OSH) concerns.
* Proactive efforts to obtain a Certificate of Appearance from DOLE.
* OBO Representation:
* Formal representation of Onestand Manufacturing Company to the Office of the Building Official (OBO).
* Submission of the complete set of signed and sealed "As-Found" plans and supporting documents to the OBO.
* Attendance at meetings, technical conferences, and site walkthroughs with OBO inspectors.
* Addressing queries, providing clarifications, and facilitating the permit approval process, including Electrical Permits, Mechanical Permits, and the Fire Safety Inspection Certificate (FSIC) from the Bureau of Fire Protection ( kBFP).
* Proactive efforts to obtain a Certificate of Appearance from OBO, signaling the formal commencement of the regularization process.

​* Redrawing of Plans and Updates:

Preparation of "As-Found" Architectural Plans, accurately reflecting the current physical layout.

Redrawing and updating of Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, and FDAS plans based on the actual site conditions and compliance requirements.
ABOUT THE PRESIDENT
Engr. Edgardo B. San Juan is a Professional Mechanical Engineer who has been designing Mechanical Systems for over 15 years. He is a retired college and university professor that taught in schools such as TIP, LSPU, Letran Calamba, and Malayan Colleges and routinely conducts seminars for the engineering society. He has mastered both theory, design, and application and was the OIC in Engineering Department for Makati Medical Center prior his retirement from the field. He is one of the few mechanical professionals whose license and expertise is recognized by the international community.

The company is providing Engineering Consultancy Services to Companies in achieving compliance with the Office of the Building Official (OBO) and the Department of Labor .
Our services will focus on addressing the identified deficiencies related to documentation, plan accuracy, and compliance with the National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP), particularly concerning, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, and Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS).
